The everyday life of a Scarecrow

The first annual Scarecrow festival is currently taking place just outside Carisbrooke in the villages of Gatcombe and Chillerton. The winner was postman Gat by the post box in Gatcombe and highly commended scarecrows included the marriage at St Olave’s Church, the huntsman on his horse and the farmer holding a crow at gun point. Fantastic fun and well worth a look.
