Kate Sanger
Kate began her craft as a model-maker and set-designer in film then studied furniture design and manufacture at The Guildhall in London. Dissatisfied with city life Kate then moved to Normandy for two years where she started wood-carving and discovered the sculptural properties of timber. The sculptural quality in her work is what defines Kate as not just a designer, and maker, but as an artist. Her bespoke furniture pieces are works of art.
Kate works to commission – all consultations are free.
Works can also be seen at Quay Arts and The Laurence Mitchell Gallery.
